How to use AI to write better ads

This week’s AI Launch Codes is a 3-part playbook on using AI to run better Meta Ads.

Today is Part 1: Ideation.

Coming up with ad ideas doesn’t mean guessing. Great ad angles come from real problems, obsessions, and competitor gaps. Here's how AI helps you find them.

Imagine you’re running Ridge Wallet ads. AI would give you these 9 hooks:

From real reviews:

  • “Ditch the bulk. Meet the wallet built for your front pocket.”

  • “Lifetime guarantee? This isn’t just a wallet. It’s peace of mind.”

  • “Feels like the Tesla of wallets.”

From Reddit threads:

  • “Tired of wallet bulk? Unless you like back pain...”

  • “Your old leather wallet called. It’s jealous.”

  • “Real men don’t carry bricks.”

From competitor analysis:

  • “No pop-ups. No gimmicks. Just real performance.”

  • “Others copy the look. We deliver the guarantee.”

  • “Swipe the flex. Keep the function.”

Want to steal the full workflows behind these hooks? You’ll also get:

  • Review-to-ad copy system

  • Reddit thread prompt builder

  • Competitor teardown prompt (markdown-engineered)

  • Custom GPT setup to write ad copy in your tone

Ad optimization

Your offer isn’t your product. It’s your pitch.

A lot of the DTC brands overvalue their product and undervalue their offer.

They’ll write 500 words about “premium” and “quality”, and then wonder why the ad flopped.

  1. “Quality” doesn’t sell on its own

Everyone claims premium. Few prove it.

    What actually drives conversions?

    👉Urgency, value, and friction removed.

  2. A discount is not an offer

30% off” is just a price drop.

“30% off for founders who hate bloated skincare routines” — that’s a hook.

👉The more specific the angle, the more real the value feels.

  3. Scarcity still works (if it’s real)

Flash sales work. But tell me this scent won’t restock till December? I’m sold.

    Exclusivity isn’t just for luxury.
👉Build it into how you release, bundle, or limit products.

  4. Your PDP should sell the offer, and not just the product

Most product pages read like brochures.
The best ones stack urgency, FOMO, bonuses, guarantees, and social proof into a reason to buy now.

If you’re counting on ads to do all the heavy lifting, you’re just paying to learn a pricey lesson.

Operator checklist:

  • Can a stranger tell what’s unique about your offer in 3 seconds?

  • Is there a reason to buy now, not later?

  • Does your Product Page/Landing Page actually support the pitch, or just describe the product?

If the answer’s “eh,” your offer isn’t ready yet.

Alright folks, that’s it for today!

Why smaller accounts are getting paid on X (And you’re not)

Cody's confused. He has more followers, so why are others getting paid, and he's not? And if you’re a Founder or a Creator on X, you might have the same question.

Here's the truth: X doesn't pay for followers. It pays for ad inventory.

That means posting often, driving engagement, and keeping people on-platform. Sometimes, one viral post is enough to hit the threshold.

To get monetized, you need:

  • X Premium

  • Consistent content

  • 5M+ impressions in 3 months

Your offer isn’t what you sell. It’s how you sell it.

Full workflows + prompts for Meta ads (ideation phase)

Part 1 of this week’s Meta Ads playbook: ad ideation.

This is how to use ChatGPT and Claude to turn raw inputs such as reviews, Reddit threads, and competitor ads into high-converting hooks and angles. Operators waste hours writing from scratch. This gets you 90% of the way there in minutes.

1. Reviews → Hooks that actually sell
