1. Gladly Customer AI takes care of customers, not tickets

Gladly is the AI agent that handles customer experience for brands like All Birds, Tumi, Hoka, UGS, Crate & Barrel and many of the other biggest e-commerce and retail brands.

Your competitors are already automating. Here's the data.

Retail and ecommerce teams using AI for customer service are resolving 40-60% more tickets without more staff, cutting cost-per-ticket by 30%+, and handling seasonal spikes 3x faster.

But here's what separates winners from everyone else: they started with the data, not the hype.

Gladly handles the predictable volume, FAQs, routing, returns, order status, while your team focuses on customers who need a human touch. The result? Better experiences. Lower costs. Real competitive advantage. Ready to see what's possible for your business?

AI Launch Codes

The AI employee that finally thinks before it writes

There’s a huge difference between opening ChatGPT and working with an AI employee.

Here’s the first thing I told my Creative Intelligence Specialist:

“Christmas is coming up… I need briefs for the designer and the copywriter.

A landing page, 3 static ads and 3 email campaigns.

All for caregivers.”

A normal ChatGPT chat would have immediately started generating paragraphs. But this employee didn’t.

It stopped and asked:

“Before I generate the full campaign thinking, I need one quick clarification: What output format do you want?”

Then it gave me three clean packaging options for the campaign. And before writing anything else, it asked again:

“One more clarification: Do you want this Christmas campaign positioned as: - ‘The gift of less stress for caregivers’? - ‘A practical holiday lifesaver for messy, hectic nights’? -‘A thoughtful, helpful gift for caregivers caring for others’? - Or something else?”

This is the difference.

ChatGPT jumps into output.

This employee slows down, thinks, and asks the questions a strategist would ask.

Once I confirmed the format and positioning, it built the entire campaign from:

insights → angles → hooks → briefs.

And here’s how the same insight transformed based on the task.

Same input. Three different tasks. Three different outputs.

1. When the task is ADS

Hook generated:

“The gift every caregiver secretly wants: more time back.”

Fast, emotional, built for testing.

2. When the task is a LANDING PAGE

Message direction:

“A thoughtful gift for caregivers who always put others first.”

It also gave structure, section flow and CTA direction.

3. When the task is EMAILS

Message/CTA direction:

“Support a caregiver with a gift that truly helps.”

It shifted into narrative thinking instead of hook thinking. This is why this employee matters. Not because it writes. But because it thinks differently depending on the job. It becomes the “strategy layer” your team never gets time to build.

3. Are you measuring time to (re)purchase?

There’s a metric almost every founder overlooks, even though it quietly decides your cash flow, payback period, and real retention.

It’s Time to Repurchase.
Put simply: How many days does it take for a customer to buy for the second time?
You calculate it by measuring the average number of days between Order 1 → Order 2.

Why does this matter so much?
Because if a product lasts 14–21 days but customers reorder in 45+, something’s off. And that “something” slows everything, your revenue recycling, your LTV, and your growth.

So how do you shorten that gap?

Smaller Packs / Trials: Smaller starter packs help customers hit the “reorder moment” faster and let them find the right product sooner. Just keep an eye on LTV.

Onboarding / Education: Teach customers exactly when and how to use your product. Most slow reorders are really usage gaps. Give them a simple habit or challenge to follow.

Post-Purchase Nudges: Send reminders right before the product should run out. Make reordering one click. Store-credit incentives help too.

Long-Term Social Proof: Show real customers using the product over time. Long-term results build belief — even before new buyers see results themselves.

Hire and train your AI Creative Intelligence Employee

This is the first real employee in your AI org. It is the thinking engine behind every asset your brand creates. Once this employee is trained, every other AI employee becomes easier to use because this one supplies the thinking they rely on.

Why this employee matters

Founders think their bottleneck is execution.

In reality, the real bottleneck is the mental load that sits before execution:

  • coming up with angles

  • figuring out what to say

  • spotting patterns in reviews

  • knowing what matters and what is noise

  • turning insights into actionable briefs

This employee removes that entire mental load. It reads your raw inputs, finds the patterns, and turns them into angles, hooks and briefs you can use immediately.
