Ecommerce Growth Engine

Steal this funnel: True Classic

In yesterday's post we told you about The Ecommerce Growth Engine. The brands growing profitably are connecting three systems:

Creative that wins the auction. A money page that wins the click. An engineered offer that wins the order.

Today, watch the engine run, on the hardest product on Meta: a plain t-shirt. No mechanism, no transformation, endless competition. Here's how True Classic does it anyway.

The ad creative names its buyer in the 10 second - A person with a “Dad Bod”

The money page finishes the ad's sentence.

The click lands on a page built only for that guy: "The Best T-Shirts for Dad Bods: 5 Reasons Why Men Are Switching to True Classic." 40,000+ reviews at the top.

The engineered offer upsizes the yes.

  • The pack ladder. You pick a quantity before you pick a color: 3-Pack Save $29, 6-Pack Save $89, 10-Pack Save $199 marked "Best Deal." The single shirt is the decoy that makes the packs look smart.

  • The threshold. An "Add $120 to get Free Shipping" bar rides on the cart, one more nudge toward the bigger pack.

  • The membership. An extra 10% off as an Insider for $1 a month, billed $12 a year, plus 10% store credit on every future order. The discount doubles as a repeat-buyer recruiter.

  • The guarantee. 100 days, easy returns and exchanges. The risk moves to the brand.

  • What's missing. A discount on one shirt. Every deal on the page requires buying more shirts, so the first order gets bigger at every step

That's the engine. Creative wins the auction, the page wins the click, the offer wins the order, and each system feeds the next.

We have built one playbook per system, built from live funnels like this one. Here's the full stack:

  • The Andromeda Playbook — the creative system. How Meta's 2026 algorithm ranks your ads, and the creative approach that feeds it winners. $47

  • The Money Page — the page system. The 7 laws from 350 hand-read landing pages, 8 page types, plus the 316-page swipe vault. $27

  • The Offer Playbook — the offer system. The 5 mechanics behind 70+ live offers, the first-order math, and the offer builder with calculator, plus the Offer Vault. $27

  • Bought separately: $101

  • Today: all three for $67. You save $34. [Get the Growth Engine stack.]

Breakdown

Prose won't sell you shampoo until you've answered questions

And that's exactly why it works.

We're doing a 100 days of stealing strategies from brands that are already winning.

For day 2, we have Prose

Go to their site and try to find a product.

You can't. But you do get a quiz.

They make you go through these steps and ask questions like:

How long is your hair?

Or What's your natural texture?

And if you don't know the answer, there is a visual option. You just tap the one that looks like your hair.

By the time you actually see a product, it's already built around your answers.

So the product starts feeling personal. And you buy it because your answers are in it.

Here's what you should do today: look at whether your product varies from person to person, hair type, skin tone, body shape, goals. If it does, ask a few questions before you show anything. And add visuals to make your options clearer.

Let the product feel like it was built for them.

Fulfillment Friday

The tariff changed overnight. The fix is a setup that can change overnight too.

Friday's tariff was announced on a Thursday and live by 12:01am the next morning, according to Wiley. The only grace was for goods already in transit.

So here's the advice we're giving brands this week: don't spend a quarter rebuilding around the 24 July rates. They'll change again. Re-engineer everything for today's number and you're just as stuck when the next one lands.

Build for reaction speed instead. Keep origin, routing, and stock placement as levers you can actually move, and keep your landed-cost model live, not a spreadsheet nobody's opened since March. Then a rate change is a recalculation, not a rebuild.

That's hard when the work sits with five vendors, each owning one piece and none owning the result. When the rate moves on a Friday, you don't want to be forwarding the news to five inboxes and hoping. You want one team that already holds the whole picture and can tell you by Monday what it costs.

You can't slow Washington down. You can make your response one call instead of five.

How Lhamour grew from a kitchen experiment to a global skincare brand

Khulan started Lhamour after developing eczema and allergies. She couldn’t find products that worked, so she made her own in her kitchen and shared the journey online.

That honesty pulled in her first customers and eventually distributors across 10 countries.

Here’s what actually drove the growth.

Early traction: Build for a problem you deeply understand. Khulan was her own first customer, and her content documented what worked. That clarity attracted the exact audience she needed without paid marketing.

Global expansion: Let product market fit do the heavy lifting, but do not outsource your brand.

Distributors helped Lhamour scale internationally, but inconsistent branding and zero control became a bottleneck.

Post COVID pivot: Focus and ownership changed everything. She moved to a DTC model with global warehouses, reduced SKUs, and focused on one clear persona instead of trying to sell to everyone.

Action Summary:

  • Talk to a specific customer, not everyone. Clarity in persona drives everything.

  • Own your brand and distribution early. Scaling without control creates bigger problems later.

  • Simplify before you scale. Fewer products and sharper messaging win globally.

Your Meta Campaign Had a Bad Day. This AI Test Tells You If It’s Broken.

Today, we’re starting a new AI Launch Codes series.

We’ll find useful AI workflows that real ecommerce founders are running, verify what they did, and turn the best ones into step-by-step systems you can use in your business.

The first workflow came from an operator whose Meta campaign fell from seven daily purchases to two.

Before changing the budget or ads, they asked Claude whether the campaign had broken or experienced a statistically normal bad day.

What the founder did

Claude modeled daily purchases with a Poisson distribution, which estimates how often a count should occur when the underlying event rate remains stable.

First, it estimated the campaign’s normal daily purchase rate from its history. Then it checked the model fit.

The operator reported that the variance was approximately equal to the mean, which is consistent with Poisson noise.

Claude calculated:

P(2 or fewer purchases) = P(0) + P(1) + P(2)

The answer was 12%.

It then simulated 100,000 campaigns at the same underlying rate. Sixty-eight percent contained at least one day that bad.

One two-order day was painful, but statistically plausible.

Three consecutive bad days had a reported likelihood of only 2%. That streak was unusual enough to investigate.

Why this works

Ads Manager reports what happened. This test calculates how surprising the result is for this specific campaign.

It uses the campaign’s own history to separate ordinary variance from evidence that delivery, traffic quality, conversion rate, tracking, or checkout changed.

We turned the founder’s one-off analysis into the Meta Variance Gate. It reads your connected Meta account and returns HOLD, WATCH, or INVESTIGATE.

Build the Meta Variance Gate

The workflow reads your connected account. There is no routine CSV upload, and it never changes the campaign.
