Of late we’ve been testing every AI tool we can to squeeze more efficiency out of our workflows, and one that keeps standing out is ElevenLabs.

This tool is so advanced that—if you train it right—you’ll struggle to tell the AI apart from your own recording (see the pro tip at the end).

Let me show you why ElevenLabs can reshape how you create content.

What Is ElevenLabs?

An AI voice engine that turns any script into a lifelike voice-over in seconds—no mic, booth, or retakes required.

You can either train the AI on your own voice or choose one from their library. (I suggest you train it on your own voice)

Why Choose ElevenLabs for Your Content?

  • Time-Saving: You don’t need to spend hours recording and editing voiceovers. I know how precious your time is.

  • Professional Quality: The lifelike voices are comparable to hiring a professional voice actor, but without the cost.

  • Versatile: Tailor-made for a range of content types, from motivational pieces to instructional content.

How E-commerce Brands Are Using With ElevenLabs

  • Paid Ads
Spin out three or four voice-over styles (fun, urgent, expert…) for the same script and A/B-test hooks on Meta or TikTok—no reshoots.

  • Reels & Shorts That Stick
Drop a crisp narration over quick-cut product demos so viewers get the “what” and the “why” before they swipe away.

  • One-Take Product Demos
Record the screen once, then swap voiceovers to localize offers, run time-limited promos, or target different buyer personas—all in minutes.

  • Voice-Backed Social Proof
Turn your best reviews into 10-second audio clips and weave them into ads, emails, or PDP carousels to make written testimonials feel human.

ElevenLabs makes it painless to try multiple hooks, tones, and messages—so you can find the version that converts fastest without touching a camera or mic.

Pro Tip: Keep training It to nail pronunciation

Early on, some words will still sound “AI.” But thats only because the training data is not large enough. Do the following and you will not know the difference between the AI and your own voice.

  1. Ask ChatGPT for the 100 most common English words.

  2. Record yourself saying each word and upload that to ElevenLabs.

  3. Whenever you hear a mispronunciation, record that word too.

  4. Keep feeding more words to the library time and time again.

  5. Say the same word in different styles as well adding different emotions.

The richer the data, the more human your model becomes—until even you can’t tell the difference.

Getting started with ElevenLabs is super easy—grab the free trial, paste in a script, and you’re off to the races.

Your segments are too basic. Here’s how to fix that.

If your Klaviyo segments still look like “Opened Last 30 Days” or “Placed Order = True,” we need to talk.

A lot of DTC brands say they’re doing segmentation, but what they’re really doing is filtering a list. The real money comes when you layer in behavioral data. What people do is way more valuable than what they said or what bucket they landed in.

Here’s how to level up your segmentation game:

  1. Build segments around intent. Not just actions.

Someone who viewed a product 3 times but didn’t buy is way hotter than someone who clicked one email last month. Use viewed product data, added-to-cart but didn’t purchase, repeat site visits, etc. That’s buying intent. You should be all over it.

  2. Use time-based behaviors.

It’s not just what they did. It’s when. A customer who browsed yesterday is a different story than someone who browsed three weeks ago. Build dynamic segments like “Viewed X Collection in last 48 hours” and hit them with timely flows.

  3. Segment by product affinity.

If someone keeps circling around your skincare category but only bought once, stop blasting them with generic campaigns. Create segments like “High engagement with [Category] but low purchase frequency” and tailor offers or education content.

  4. Don’t ignore negative signals.

Tracking interest is easy. Knowing when someone’s losing interest is where the real advantage is. If someone hasn’t opened your last 10 emails but keeps visiting your site, maybe email isn’t the channel. Suppress them from campaigns and experiment with other channels to find a multi-touchpoint channel. And obviously find out how and why they keep visiting your website.

Lastly, great copy helps, but knowing who to send it to is what keeps the cash coming in.

Alright folks, that’s it for today!
