2. Turn your 2025 sales data into a Q1 2026 action plan (inventory, pricing, SKU cuts)

Most brands are guessing what to stock for Q1 2026. They're ordering inventory based on gut feel, keeping underperforming SKUs "just in case," and discounting more when sales drop.

Here's what happened when we fed one year of Shopify sales data into Claude with a strategic prompt.

⬇️

Highlight #1 from the analysis.

The Setup:

We took a DTC brand's complete 2025 sales data (modified numbers for demo purposes) and asked Claude to analyze three things with a structured prompt:

  1. Which products to stock heavily vs cut completely

  2. Whether discounting is helping or hurting

  3. Where pricing power actually exists

The brand had lost 34% revenue year-over-year.

Their instinct? Discount more aggressively.

Highlight #2.

Then, Claude found something surprising: Their only growing product had an 18% price increase. Meanwhile, products they were discounting at 36% were declining by 58%.

Highlight #3.

The data also revealed a "discount death spiral". They went from 1.1% discounts (healthy) to 19.2% discounts (desperate) and still lost $416,764K in revenue.

Highlight #4.

Lesson: Discounting wasn't the answer. It was accelerating the decline.

What This Means For Your Business:

Your 2025 data contains the exact playbook for Q1 2026.

  • Which 1-2 products to double down on (even at higher prices)

  • Which SKUs are bleeding cash that you should cut immediately

  • Whether your discount strategy is actually destroying margins

  • And a lot more CFO level insights

3. How Stripe is preparing brands for agent-driven shopping

AI agents are starting to shape how people discover and buy products, not just how they search.

Stripe explains how brands can sell products through AI agents using a single integration instead of rebuilding their entire commerce setup.

Why this matters:
AI assistants are becoming a new place customers find and buy products.

Brands that understand this early will have an advantage as buying behavior shifts.

The article explains how Stripe’s Agentic Commerce Suite handles product discovery, checkout, payments, and fraud for agent-driven purchases, while still letting brands keep their existing systems.

Viral Trend

4. This hook can make founder content blow up

"Is it possible to…"

Instagram post

This format forces viewers to stay until they see the outcome.

Mino Lee ran a series of 10 videos on Instagram and TikTok using this exact hook.

Those posts drove over 30 million views on TikTok and 24 million views on Instagram, and added 94,000 followers in the process.

Here's how to use the format:

Think in specific, measurable challenges tied to your brand:

  • "Is it possible to turn 3 angry customers into superfans in 24 hours?"

  • "Is it possible to sell out a product with 0 ad spend in 7 days?"

  • "Is it possible to launch a new flavor using only customer ideas?"

  • "Is it possible to get 100 UGC videos from 10 customers in one weekend?"

Record the attempt as a mini story:

  1. Set challenge: "Is it possible to…" in first 3 seconds

  2. Show constraints: budget, time, rules

  3. Document process: wins, fails, behind-the-scenes

  4. Reveal result: clear number (revenue, orders, signups)

Make it repeatable:

  • Same hook + new challenge every time

  • Test 3-5 challenges in a month

  • Double down on saves/shares/comments

Email Marketing

5. 60 New Year subject lines worth stealing

Every January, inboxes fill up with the same recycled subject lines.
“New year, new you” shows up so often it barely registers anymore.

Instead of guessing, here’s a short list of subject lines that actually do the job. These work because they are clear, emotional, and easy to adapt across promos, launches, and retention emails.

Here are a few of them:

  1. “2026: The Year You Achieve It All 🎯

  2. “Fresh Year, Fresh Goals—Let’s Do This!”

  3. “This is Your Year to Shine

  4. “New Year, New Chapter. Start Writing It Now.”

  5. “2026 is Full of Possibilities—Ready to Seize Them?”

  6. “Make 2026 the Year of YOU 💪

  7. “Your Goals Are Calling—Let’s Answer Together!”

If you want more than just a short list,

The list is divided into clear sections like inspirational, promotional, personalized, urgent, playful, and resolution-focused, so you can quickly pick the right angle for the message you are sending.
