BFCM prep checklist
1. Increasing ad costs don’t have to mean lower profits
Customer acquisition (NCAC) is higher than ever, and every brand is fighting for attention.
So how can we survive and flourish in the noisy, expensive ecom space?
Galanta Rewards.
Sugar Me Smooth figured out a key lever, year over year they went from 25.82% to 32.84% over the July 4th weekend. Exact same offer discount, same messaging, etc.
How did they get this 27% increase in repeat customers?
By installing a rewards app that doesn’t increase prices, the way ads do.
By giving shoppers a reason to come back, they had more cushion against rising ad costs. By retaining customers they already paid for they’ve been able to not only protect margins, but improve them.

2. My favorite recipe for landing pages
1/ Tell them exactly what you made
2/ What the benefit it is
3/ Why your brand exists

Most brands use the entire landing page to tell us what they do.
If you can explain what you do and why you do it in 3 lines,
your customer won’t need to scroll, think, or decode your brand.

3. Blaming your courier for late deliveries?
Customers are getting their orders late.
They’re frustrated, they complain, and they lose trust in your brand.
And you blame the courier service.
Turns out, the problem starts in the warehouse.
Without a clear process, orders can sit too long before they’re shipped.
What you can do:
Establish a rule with your warehouse for how fast orders should be packed and shipped.
Set a simple rule like:
“Orders before 1 PM ship the same day.”
“All orders ship within 24 hours.”
Hidden fees
4. Stop losing profit to sneaky warehouse fees
Warehouses often charge extra for relabeling, reboxing, or adding inserts.
These fees usually sit in a separate section of the invoice, so they’re easy to miss.
What to do?
Check your last bill to see if any unexpected charges slipped in.
They’re usually buried under a section called “project” or “special handling.”
