The AI Agent Shopify Brands Trust for Q4

Generic chatbots don’t work in ecommerce. They frustrate shoppers, waste traffic, and fail to drive real revenue.

Zipchat.ai is the AI Sales Agent built for Shopify brands like Police, TropicFeel, and Jackery — designed to sell, Zipchat can also.

  • Answers product questions instantly and recommends upsells

  • Converts hesitant shoppers into buyers before they bounce

  • Recovers abandoned carts automatically across web and WhatsApp

  • Automates support 24/7 at scale, cutting tickets and saving money

From 10,000 visitors/month to millions, Zipchat scales with your store — boosting sales and margins while reducing costs. That’s why fast-growing DTC brands and established enterprises alike trust it to handle their busiest season and fully embrace Agentic Commerce.

Growth Playbook

The survey that generated $600,000 in new revenue

Farm Hounds sent one simple survey.

It asked: "How did you find us?"

30-40% of responses said "word of mouth."

That discovery led to $600,000 in referral sales.

Here's how to replicate their 22.25% referral rate:

Step 1: Send the Survey

After someone makes their first purchase, send this:

  • Subject: "Quick question about your order"

  • One question: "How did you find Farm Hounds?"

  • Multiple choice with "Word of mouth" as an option

Step 2: Analyze Your Hidden Channel

Farm Hounds discovered that word-of-mouth was already driving 30-40% of their sales.

They were getting free referrals. They just weren't tracking or rewarding them.

Step 3: Turn Free into Paid

Once they knew customers were already referring, they:

  • Integrated ReferralCandy with Klaviyo

  • Sent referral invites to their email list

  • Offered 1000 points for each successful referral

The Results:

  • 22.25% referral rate (nearly 10× the industry average)

  • $600,000+ in referral revenue

  • 35.30x ROI on their referral program

Your Action Step:

  • Send a "How did you find us?" survey to your last 60 days customers

  • If 10%+ say word-of-mouth, you're sitting on untapped revenue

  • Launch a referral program immediately. You can use Referral Candy, Social Snowball, or any other app that helps you with referral program.

Copy That Converts

Why the PAS framework keeps showing up in winning DTC ads

One copy framework DTC brands can always count on:

Problem → Agitate → Solve (PAS)

It works because it follows how people already think.

  1. Problem: Call out the real struggle your customer recognizes instantly.

  2. Agitate: Show the cost of doing nothing.

  3. Solution: Position your product as the clear, specific fix.

Why PAS converts

64% of consumers say ads that speak directly to their pain increase purchase intent.

Examples:

Sleep Number

Problem: tossing and turning

Agitate: waking up exhausted, moody, unfocused

Solve: adjustable firmness built for your body

Dollar Shave Club

Problem: cheap razors irritate skin

Agitate: red bumps, cuts, daily annoyance

Solve: smooth blades delivered on subscription

Headache relief ads

Problem: pulsing head pain

Agitate: missed meetings, sleepless nights

Solve: fast-acting relief with a guarantee

How to apply this today

  • Pull top pain points from reviews and support tickets

  • Agitate with scenes customers recognize instantly

  • Replace vague claims with concrete outcomes (“sleep 40% deeper”)

Stop offering free shipping on single units

Free shipping is one of those things brands turn on and forget, and then wonder why margins feel tight.

Shopify’s data shows that conditional free shipping works better than sitewide free shipping.

Not because it’s clever, but because customers will add one more item just to avoid paying for shipping. That one extra item changes everything.

  • Higher order value.

  • Same shipping label.

  • Better numbers per order.

If you don’t have conditional free shipping, test this today:

  • Pull the last 90 days’ orders.

  • Check what your average order value (AOV) is.

  • Set your free shipping slightly above that number.

  • Then make it obvious in the cart how close someone is to free shipping.

If you offer free shipping and customers do not add more items, you lose money.

If free shipping makes customers add more to their cart, you can still make money or break even.

In this example, free shipping starts at two items, but it can also be set at a dollar amount like orders over $75.
