Why your hero image should be a lifestyle image
Studies show lifestyle images can boost engagement by up to 40%
And why wouldn’t it?
Look at these two examples
Which one convinces you more?

Most likely the second.
The one that feels relatable.
Why lifestyle images work:
When customers see someone like them using it, it becomes easier to imagine owning it.
It feels like real life, not an ad. That lowers skepticism instantly.
It evokes a desire to achieve the same feeling depicted in your images.
What a good lifestyle image should have:
Show the product in in a believable everyday situation.
Keep the scene intentional and uncluttered.
Use relatable models customers can see themselves in
Match the tone to your brand identity

How to get AI to recommend your brand in 10 mins a day
Your next customer won't search Google. They'll ask ChatGPT.
I searched Perplexity for "best protein powder that doesn't taste chalky."

I tried "best moisturizer for dry skin under $30" on ChatGPT.

And "best running shoes for beginners" on Perplexity.

Did you notice the common citation in each query?
Before every response, AI searches the web. And the website that appears in every single result is Reddit.
This isn't a coincidence
Reddit is the most cited domain by LLM’s.
Ahrefs, 9.6M queries: Reddit is the #1 cited domain in ChatGPT. (Source)
Semrush, 230K prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI: Reddit is the most cited social platform on all three. (Source)
Profound, 700K citations: 99% of Reddit citations are discussion threads. Not posts. Conversations. (Source)
What actually gets cited
80% of cited Reddit threads have fewer than 20 upvotes.
Q&A threads ("what's the best X?") make up over 50% of all Reddit citations. Comparison threads are second.
Median cited response: about 80 words.
A response with 3 upvotes that directly answers a specific question is more useful to ChatGPT than a 500-upvote rant.
Now look at the other sources in those screenshots. Glamour. NBC News. Runner's World. You cannot show up there tomorrow. Those need PR teams and big budgets.
But that Reddit thread, "Clean moisturizer under $30?", you could have been in that conversation. Free. Today.
The only thing standing between you and your first AI citation is knowing where to show up and what to say.
The daily workflow
The question isn't whether you should be on Reddit. It's which conversations to join, how to find them daily, and how to respond without getting your account banned. Here's the exact process.
That's exactly what's in the paid section below.
Step 1: Find your subreddits
